Boosie BadAzz instantaneously became one of the most controversial figures in the world on Thursday when an interview with VladTV, in which the Baton Rouge native accuses television of glorifying homosexuality, went viral. By Friday morning everyone from Complex to TMZ, the Washington Times to New York's Daily News was on the story, exposing his unapologetic position to millions. One reader who came across Boosie's words was Jerome Trammel, a gay and human rights activist/educator from Milwaukee, who would take to Twitter with an open letter in dissent of the rapper.

The New York Knicks look to continue building a playoff caliber team this off season, with sources confirming their next target will be Joakim Noah, who is a free agent. With the signing, Noah will reunite with former teammate Derrick Rose, who the Knicks recently acquired.  Noah is said to come with a price tag of $18 million per year.

With an open letter shared through a blog on Christian website, Hollywood conservative Stacey Dash laid out a reactionary critique of Jesse Williams' speech at Sunday's BET Awards, on Wednesday [June 29]. In it, Dash breaks the full transcript into sections, and intercedes between each as she spins Jesse's address to Black America into "an attack on white people." She would also target Williams personally all the while continuing her long standing crusade to defame the BET network.
